 Many domestic and foreign internet portals provide their services as industrial reference guides and catalogues. However such portals lack a number of useful functions as well as feature serious drawbacks, low level of usability and complexity of data presentation.
The Flexis company has developed an alternative to it in the form of custom software allowing presentation of any objects of an industry interesting to the customer on the map.

Cross-platform solution as well as small size of the application and automatic update make the product extremely convenient for all users.
Application architecture
The project is implemented as a client-server application based on Adobe Flex and integrated with existing portal of the customer or placed at separate server. This solution provides independence of the platform (the application operates in all conventional operational systems).
The client side uses Adobe Flash Player. This runtime environment is free of charge, updated automatically, has small installation file and is already installed on the computers of more than 98% of the Internet usres.
One of the know-how of the project is employment of geographic informational system as a host interface for better data visualization user friendliness.
Information and analytical system developed by Fexis for Rosatom State enterprise is a good example of employment of such solution.
It is necessary to note that a user can carry on complicated parametrical search of enterprises (for example, for glass industry, find all manufacturers of glassware in Russia or all glass processing companies in Italy). Additional functionality can be implemented on the customer’s order.
The system holds large advertisement opportunities. For instance the product owners can place more detailed information about advertising companies, context advertisement or partner banners.
