OpenHistory (www.openhistory.net) – is the first Russian project with an open code, implemented on the basis of Adobe Flex Rich Internet Application. It is an open base in history which allows seeing an animated human evolution on the interactive map. Users have large variety of opportunities for the map operation (choice of historical sites, check of the detailed information, information download, map export etc.).
The project is meant for research workers, people interested in history and also for flex-designers. The enthusiasts can join the project, gain experience of work with Adobe Flex in a professional team and make a contribution to creation of historical portal. |
